    IGSHPA Members.,

    Greetings,

It's Christmas in October. I have a five-ton heat pump that has been in service for two months and it is not able to perform as I designed it. So, I am replacing it with a Unit that can meet my requirements.

Can you use this unit? I am offering it at no charge, I will pay freight to your location. I hate to give it to a metal recycler!

This unit is a ClimateMaster Water to Water Heat pump, TBW060, with Copper Brazed Plate Exchangers on both the Load and Source (Closed Loop) it requires 10-15 gpm on both sides (See attached Brochure and Specifications Catalog.) This is a great unit for a Swimming pool heater. Will require a secondary exchanger & pump to isolate the GHP from the Pool Water. It is prefect for a Hydronic Floor or air coil application. It can provide load hot water up to 120 deg. F. The model number is TBW060AGD00BOBS.

I have a comparable unit that has been running in Myrtle beach for the past five years heating a Doctor's Lab Pool.

Can you use it?? It will be available in two to four weeks.

Let me know your interest. Thanks

Hello Don!  That is a very nice offer.  If you don't find someone to accept it please check local technical training schools that offer HVAC.  They might have an interest.

I am the Program Coordinator for the HVAC program at Kankakee Community College, Kankakee, IL.  If you are giving it away, and paying shipping, consider us.  I would be happy to provide you with a donation letter.  I have a course in GSHP.  Have a working demo unit.  But would love another.  I am working on hydronic-water-to-water stuff for my lab.  And since we are scheduled to move into a bigger lab this coming summer, this would help a lot.

So if you have no other takers, would love to have it.
