Horizontal Boring Contractors

We cannot find any qualified horizontal bore geothermal contractor for a site in Greenville, SC.  If you know of any h-bore contractors who might consider traveling to Greenville for about 3500'-4000' of geothermal h-bore installation, please send their name our way or have them call us.  We have/are working the DW dealers and such, but so far the only lead is someone with no experience who will "try" it for $18/ft which would be double the cost of wells.

    Thank you!

    Hey Rick,

We were in the HDD Geo business but recently sold our rig. We have drilled several loops in Greenville and I can tell you that the area has a lot of Rock which is not conducive to horizontal boring. A HDD driller will be taking a risk if he gets halfway into job and can't finish.
I would suggest contacting the Territory's Vermeer or Ditch Witch rep, he can probably give you the names of some qualified drillers for Greenville.

    Good Luck to You,
